Scratch Jr

Scratch Jr is a coding program where you can make animations. It's like adding stuff into a google drawing. I like it because it is easy to use and it's really fun. I give a rating 10/10 because of all the things you can do in there. I made a slideshow about people in a dance party.

The time tornado|22/11/18

  Once at Saturday night, there was this boy named Lachlan. He was 13 years old, Had red, glowing eyes that lit the dark night, and he was wearing red clothes with a blue jacket which had red stains on it. (it was just juice from cherries) He went to the haunted, 1,000+ old, broken house. He needed some shelter since there was a storm outside. It was too old, Lachlan didn't like it. So he lit the house on fire. At 1:00 early in the morning, a tornado formed right behind him. It was so powerful, that it sucked him in. Lachlan fainted due to the ultimately hard wind. When he woke up, He saw clocks spinning around him. Then he noticed, he was sent 4.6 billion years behind. Dinosaurs were stomping everywhere. Velociraptors, Pterodactyls, T-Rexes, Dinosaurs everywhere.He hadn't seen anything like this in his life. Nowhere to be found, There were no people. No people at all. He was the only human there. He saw the dinosaurs running towards it. Lachlan was so fast that in the blink of an eye, He built a dinosaur made of stones. Everytime the dinosaurs tried to bite it apart, the stones chipped their teeth, one by one. It hurt more than you think. By the time there was so many cracks in their teeth, they ran away, whining and crying. To be continued :)

The party of nightmares

One day at Alexander's house, His family threw out a birthday party in the backyard. Alexander invited about 6 of his friends over.  But the moment he called his brother, He hung up instantly. Alexander's brother was being mind-controlled. He was being controlled by an evil scientist who had no name. Alexander's brother was called Jason. Alexander was 16 and his brother was 11 years older than him. Jason used to have blue eyes but now they are glowing red. Jason was dragging injured bodies in his car. The evil scientist was making him murder people. Jason was also drunk and had 40% of his life left. Back at the party, all of Alexander's friends were there.

Celtic Cross drawing

WALT we are learning to draw Irish symbols                               
Cultural day is on 27 September 2018 and for our topic we are showing the whole school our Ireland projects. The Celtic cross represents Jesus on the cross and the halo is what Jesus/Mary has on their heads.

Life on the moon

My life on the moon :)

If I lived on the moon i would just find a hollow cave and live in it. I would pack up food and wear an astronaut suit.(if it fits me.) I would also break holes so i can see if there is a tornado or something like that I would just take apart my rocket and build a invincible house but if……..I knew how to. I would NOT go to space if i were still a child. People will imagine me wanting to be an alien! Also one day I was walking down the path and I saw another base. I knocked on the door then I saw….STAN!!!!! I was trying to not blow my top but I did.(Just don’t worry bcz its not real) Stan told me that someone stole my cake. I was so angry. I rushed to the other side to the moon with stan, And there was an alien with a chocolate cake. I shouted, That’s mine!

The alien was someone i knew…

All about me - Mark

We were creating a google drawing by uru manuka and it was called All about me. What you had to do is put in your favorite stuff and your name and other things.

Our School

Walt make a report that informs our readers

                      Our school

In our school we’ve got 136 people, 2 offices, 15 staff,
1 staff room and 2 clubs which is breakfast and cultural club.

We have 3 playgrounds, and 2 parking lots. We’ve got 7
teachers and 132 children. The C.E.R.R values are Compassion,
Excellence, Responsibility and Respect.

We have a church that is being rebuilt because we have to
fit more people in. We have the church hall for church in
some days. We have a big field and 2 courts. There are gates
in all the parking lots. We’ve got 3 big trees and lots of small
trees beside the third playground at the fence. We’ve got 1
principal and his name is Mr  Norman. We’ve got 8 rooms in
the whole school. For P.E we’ve got a P.E shed. We’ve got 2
decks beside each classroom. In room 8 we have kiwi can.
In room 2 we have choir. In room 6 we have cultural
club and in room 7 we have breakfast club.
In the field we’ve got 1 rugby post. In the park
we’ve got a sandpit. We’ve got 1 prayer garden
which is beside the gate.
Next to the classes, We’ve got a library.
Next to the teacher car park we got some wooden
cylinders which has Māori greetings on it.
We have a big chess board next to the school gate but
we don’t play checkers with it anymore.
Next to that we have a small bench.
We also have a little bench for waiting for the bus.
(I go on the bus with some of my friends) When we walk
down to the bus stop there is a lot of red trees on the side
and plants or bushes on the other side.

Te Reo Maori colours

At Room 4 we were learning Te reo Maori colors. We sang the song "Ma is white" to remember.

Coding 101

Last week we went to code.org and did some coding. Code.org is a coding site where it has coding games like Angry birds, Ice age and whatever. It's where you have to code stuff left or right,Forward, and if you keep failing pres the "step" button so you can see where you are going. If you got it, then press the "run" button
