Me and my friend Charles made a DLO (Digital Learning Object) about Anzac Mascots. Sadly we could not show this at school cause of FLIPPING CORONAVIRUS. So anyway, here is Charles' and I's DLO.
I am a student at St. Bernadette's School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hi Mark,
ReplyDeleteWow you have been working hard! I love how you used a drawing with information and images to share what you have learnt about ANZAC mascots.
Keep up the great work!
Ms Wilton
Thank you Ms Wilton!

DeleteHi Mark and Charles,
ReplyDeleteYou have done a great job of explaining what a mascot is. You have used visuals to help people understand the meaning of a mascot. Interestingly, I always thought that Pelorus Jack was a dolphin. I wonder if you could tell me what mascots the NZ army had that were not animals?
Well done boys.
Miss Satherley
Hi Miss Satherley,
DeletePelorus Jack, the dog, was named after the famous dolphin :)
Thank you for teaching me about Pelorus Jack the dog. I did not know that.

DeleteHi Mark and Charles, pai te mahi, well done guys on your Anzac Mascot task. I enjoyed the information you shared. Do you think that both Mascots would have been missed by their groups? Do you find out if there were any memorials or special services held when they both died?
